Responsibilities

Open Sky's Adult Family Care program provides support for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. This includes elders, adults with disabilities, and those who cannot live alone safely. The program offers various resources such as nursing support, case management, and emergency assistance, enabling caregivers to provide better care.

As a Registered Nurse with Open Sky, you will conduct home visits in Central Massachusetts, working from an office in Whitinsville. This full-time position primarily involves day shifts from Monday to Friday with no on-call duties. Your tasks will include assessments, vital sign checks, and providing overall medical support to the program participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with medical service providers
  • Conduct vital sign checks and basic medical assessments
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic healthcare system
  • Offer medical training to caregivers, individuals in the program, and colleagues
  • Conduct medication audits as needed


Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Comply with MassHealth guidelines for annual screenings


Compensation: $33 per hour
