Project Overview:
Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio.

We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline.

Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets.

Job Summary:


Bechtel is seeking an Health Services Assistant supporting ES&H construction team for the Manufacturing and Technology business line, based in New Albany, Ohio.

This position will provide support under the direction of the Health Services Coordinator with administrative duties and transportation of work related patients to offsite medical appointments.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Transports injured (work related) employees to offsite provider appointments and collects documentation as required.
  • Reviews medical documentation to ensure all is accounted for.
  • Assists in the management of requisite occupational medical records for Bechtel employees.
  • Coordinate complex logistics, visa applications and security for traveling managers; maintain organizational travel calendar;
  • Maintain files (hard copy and electronic) using Aconex;
  • Prepare reports as requested;
  • Composes routine correspondence in response to requests for department services; answers inquiries from other departments, area offices, or outside entities.
  • Monitors all follow-up actions required by supervisor/manager.
  • Organizes material for meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of related secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic to intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including (spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proper use of syntax).
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have a valid USA Drivers Licenses
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of filing systems and common office procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • A health background is preferred (Licensed practical nurse etc)
  • Must be proactive, have above-average organizational skills, use individual initiative and follow assignments through to completion.
  • Proven administrative capability including the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be flexible and willing to shift gears and take on unexpected and/or unanticipated projects as needed.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and work effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of filing systems and common office procedures.
