Located in Long Beach, CA, we are recruiting for an experienced service technician.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains and repairs dish machines and dispensing equipment in commercial establishments.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Use technical knowledge and problem solving ability to install, service and maintain dish machines, laundry equipment and dispensing systems.
- Handle various commercial cleaning chemicals, ensuring they are carefully setup with the proper dispenser.
- Install and maintain wall charts and other training materials.
Qualifications:
- Oneyear certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous service tech experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping and/or hospitality industries preferred.
- Able to manage the inventory and use of a variety of parts and tools.
- Valid Class C driver's license with a good driving record.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such a formulas, discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Able to manage the inventory and use of a variety of parts and tools.
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
