Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

We are looking for a Charge Nurse, either with a LVN or RN qualification, to become part of our expanding team. It is crucial for this role to have a reputation for being reliable, trustworthy, and consistent in terms of attendance.
The ability to consistently show up for work on time, collaborate effectively and respectfully with colleagues, as well as efficiently manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment are all key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to Nurse Aides for the proper care of residents.
  • Administer resident medication correctly.
  • Execute resident care plans following Company and federal regulations as well as physician's instructions.
  • Perform necessary treatments.
  • Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
  • Thorough and timely documentation in residents' charts.
    Conduct Nursing assessment as needed.
  • Participate in shift handovers.
  • Enforce established nursing protocols and procedures, educating support staff on residents' care requirements.
  • Maintain a secure working environment, adhering to infection control and proper body mechanics.
  • Address staffing shortages promptly by coordinating replacement staff.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Licensed/Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Strong technical, assessment, and documentation abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to manage work efficiently, respond to emergencies, and pay attention to detail.
