We are looking for a Senior Director of Manufacturing in Florence, Alabama.

Responsibilities of the Role:


  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for manufacturing operations in line with overall business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Mentor a team of manufacturing managers and supervisors.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including human capital, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure resource efficiency to meet production targets.
  • Establish and maintain stringent quality control measures for high-quality products.
  • Manage the manufacturing budget.
  • Implement best practices for process optimization.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and efficiency.
  • Contribute to new product and process development.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing success.
  • Utilize data analysis for informed decision-making and perform any other necessary duties.

Requirements:


  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of organizational context and people management strategies.
  • Ability to impact and improve all functional areas.
  • Expertise in team productivity, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
  • High integrity in handling confidential data and proficient in Microsoft Suite.
