GPI is seeking a traffic engineering project manager to join our growing Pennsylvania Traffic group in any of the following offices: Allentown, King of Prussia, Mechanicsburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Scranton.

We have an exciting range of traffic engineering projects supporting private and public development projects.

We are looking for an individual with prior experience in traffic engineering to join a team and build a career alongside some of the best in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:
Managing challenging and varying projectsLeading a team of experienced engineers and techniciansMentoring junior staffCommunicating with clients and local and state agencies and attending public hearingsManaging project scopes, schedules, and budgetsWriting contracts and reviewing invoicesEnsuring the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents

What You Need:
BS in Civil Engineering or a related field15 + years of experience in traffic engineering with both private and public clientsExperience with project managementCommunication skills for public hearings and working with public agenciesPE license is requiredKnowledge of traffic analysis software applications (Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel docu ents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven ground varying in height and consistency of material, with a variation of elevation 19" or less (mud, gravel, rutted ground, etc.)Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e.
