Overview:
Parker & Sons is currently seeking Building Maintenance I position to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best experience every day.
Our warehouse associates are responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
After over 40 years, Parker & Sons has evolved into one of Arizona's oldest and largest service companies with more than 100 team members.
Our services have expanded to include not only heating and cooling, but plumbing, electrical, drain cleaning, reverse osmosis, water softeners, misting systems, and indoor air quality as well.

Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all exterior areas of the property, including grounds and parking lots.
Break down cardboard and other recyclable materials and dispose of them appropriately.
Perform basic painting tasks to maintain the appearance of the facilities.
Set up office spaces, including the assembly and arrangement of desks, cubicles, shelving, and other furniture.
Change light bulbs and perform basic electrical maintenance tasks.
Change locks and perform basic locksmith duties as needed.
Operate and drive a forklift for the movement of heavy items and equipment.
Assist with the movement and parking of vehicles on the property.
Stock supplies and ensure that all necessary items are available and organized.
Perform some janitorial duties, including cleaning and maintaining restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Respond to maintenance requests and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to operate and drive a forklift (certification preferred).
Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Phyiscal Demands/Work Environment:
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs.
Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, crouch, crawl and/or feel
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
