All job responsibilities must be carried out according to Federal/State regulations, in adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and in Compliance with the BSA/AML program.

As a Collector and Foreclosure Specialist ("employee"), employee will handle functions pertinent to the Loss Mitigation Department including but not necessarily limited to:

  • Managing severely past due loans thru the foreclosure process
  • Tracking foreclosure sales while providing detailed reporting to Management
  • Acting as the conduit between the Bank, the borrower, and the Bank's attorneys
  • Review and submitting invoices representing the Bank attorneys' fees
  • Maintain and understand the requirements of FDCPA
  • Outbound / Inbound calls to and from delinquent borrowers
  • Resolve past due loans while minimizing risk
  • Maintain and update calling activities within the designated system

Key Performance Areas:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank's policies and procedures related to its Domestic Lending Programs
  • Maintain compliance with all collections and foreclosure laws and regulations
  • Community involvement
  • Assist other divisions with reporting needs or other functions when available
  • Other tasks as assignment by management

  • Perform all duties in accordance with the Vision and Values of Bradesco BAC Florida Bank
  • Knowledge of applicable lending and banking laws and regulations
  • Ensure all borrowers are treated in an appropriate manner
  • Willing to be trained to handle Annual Term Loan Reviews from Domestic Credit (when volume dictates)

Education and Experience:
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar with an advanced degree preferred.

  • Verbally communicate clear and concise messages to internal/external clients, coworkers, and vendor,
  • Using written format, effectively communicate clear and concise messages to clients, coworkers, and vendors
  • Meet deadlines while working under stressful environments

Language Skills:
Excellent Written/Verbal skills. Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
