Are you a night owl? Our global manufacturing client has an exciting opportunity on 2nd shift for a Production Team Lead to provide leadership on the manufacturing floor sustaining productivity and quality standards while keeping their employees engaged and trained.

In return, you will have the chance to tackle challenging tasks, enhancing both your skills and your career within the organization.

Your work schedule will be from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. three days a week and every other Saturday.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for organizing all assigned resources to produce products according to the current schedule and approved quality standard.
  • Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraint resources.
  • Organize material movement to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Team Leaders, and Hourly Team Leaders to achieve goals.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Team to schedule machinery maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with process control procedures following ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
  • Participate in improvement projects as a team leader, team member, or facilitator as necessary.
  • Provide recommendations and support in training manufacturing associates.

Primary Skills Required:

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production, and inventory control.
  • Self-motivated individual committed to achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Effective organizational skills, with project management background being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in LEAN manufacturing techniques.
  • Capable of working in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communication abilities to facilitate cross-departmental collaborations.
  • Prior experience in team leadership or supervision is desirable.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft, ERP software, etc.).
