Medical scribes, or medical transcriptionists, assist physicians or other healthcare professionals by performing clerical tasks and taking notes during patient consultations.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, hours vary.
Occasional Saturday shift (8:30-1pm)
Maintain adherence to transcription quality assurance standards
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology for appropriate medical specialties
Demonstrate knowledge of medical/surgical procedures and equipment for appropriate medical specialties
Demonstrate knowledge of medications/dosages for appropriate medical specialties

Bi-lingual English and Spanish (speak, read, write)Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience as a medical scribe in a fast-paced clinical environment
Experience with Epic EMR
Solid understanding of medical terminology from education or previous on-the-job training
New Jersey Residents Only:
The hourly range for New Jersey residents is $16.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
