RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking experienced Senior Network Architect. This is a full-time, Hybrid role (3 on-site, 2 remote) in Houston, TX, or Colorado Springs.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Network Architect will design, implement, and manage advanced network architectures using Juniper and Cisco
  • Develop and maintain robust solutions with EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, and IPSEC
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, aligning with business goals
  • Analyze, optimize, troubleshoot for optimal performance and reliability
  • As a Senior Network Architect, you will collaborate on strategies, standards, best practices with teams
  • Provide leadership, mentorship to junior engineers
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, stay updated on tech trends

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 10+ years in network architecture, design, implementation
  • Extensive Juniper/Cisco experience, EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, IPSEC
  • Track record in leading complex projects, problem-solving
  • Strong communication, collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred
  • Enterprise or service provider experience
  • Network automation tools, scripting (Python, Ansible)
  • Cloud networking, hybrid cloud knowledge
  • Project management, agile methodologies experience


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.

This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.

The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
