Job Summary

:
Join this impactful team as a Network Engineer (P2) to ensure the smooth operation of classified network infrastructure at our Raytheon locations in Andover, MA. The role involves installation, maintenance, support, and monitoring of the network infrastructure, and occasional travel to other local and US Domestic locations may be required. Relocation support is provided.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Prepares or ensures relevant network documentation is available.
  • Provides regular monitoring and network analysis for system planning.
  • Assists in coordinating third-party maintenance and network designs.
  • Collaborates with program engineers to solve networking issues.
  • Enhances technical team performance through mentoring and training.
  • Available for work outside normal hours and domestic travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering/Technology with 2 years' experience or Associates with 4 years' experience. Relevant IT/Network Engineering experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and active US government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with authentication servers, intrusion detection systems, and network architecture.
  • Proficiency in network management software and security protocols.
  • Skills in project management, team leadership, and Cisco platforms.
  • Customer service, Security+, and CCNP certifications.
