Job Description

The Technical Talent Sourcer will utilize both current and potential resource tools and channels to identify prospective candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

In partnership with the Recruiting team, the Sourcer will be responsible for delivering full-service sourcing and research support for functional specific roles in Technology and Analytics as well as other critical roles across the organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with recruiters to create and implement appropriate sourcing strategies for active and future requisitions.
  • Execute sourcing searches (cold calling, networking, identifying applicant associations/pools/professional groups and affiliations, websites, Boolean searches, targeted companies/individuals etc), managing candidate experience through the sourcing process.
  • Proactively develop robust candidate pipelines across a diverse range of business areas, leveraging technology to Client and sustain cold/warm leads, hot leads, referrals, and other potential prospects. Utilize appropriate Social Media sourcing and branding tools to support with talent attraction.
  • Provide talent market insights, competitive intelligence and talent demographics as appropriate to enable Recruiting team to be best informed on market conditions.
  • Utilizing all appropriate avenues/tools/sources at disposal, create talent lists for active and future roles for defined positions, ensuring talent pools are maintained and managed for an excellent candidate experience.
  • Develop a broad professional network of top talent.
  • Stay current on market trends and practices as relates to sourcing methods, and ensure that knowledge share training, coaching and mentoring is provided to the wider Recruiting team.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory Skills years of dedicated sourcing experience and proven ability to quickly identify and build talent pipelines required. - Previous sourcing experience within technology, analytics, data science - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Demonstrated experience sourcing a wide variety of paid and free resources including social media - Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings, x-rays and custom search engines (CSE)) - Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs) (Workday sourcing a plus) - Strong experience with Excel for candidate tracking including building formulas and graphs/charts
