AmeriMed Infusion Pharmacy is currently seeking a Fulltime Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team, with a fantastic $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

Join AmeriMed Infusion Pharmacy in West Chester, Ohio as a Fulltime Compounding Pharmacy Technician and seize the opportunity of a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for measuring and compounding medication under a registered Pharmacist's supervision, maintaining patient records, and performing tasks approved by the State Board of Pharmacy.

  • Maintain Pharmacy Technician Certification or obtain state-approved certification within 12 months of hire
  • Assist in the training of pharmacy personnel
  • Handle interactions with insurance and medical providers, including billing and follow-ups
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Prepare prescriptions under Pharmacist's supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Clean and calibrate compounding equipment, following guidelines
  • Communicate with patients regarding medication supply and deliveries
  • Assist Pharmacists in providing medication and health care products to patients
  • Prepare I.V. medications and maintain pharmacy organization

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ohio state pharmacy technician licensure
  • National certification within 12 months of employment
  • Six months of sterile IV compounding pharmacy technician experience
  • Strong customer service, math, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of medical technology
  • Full-time availability with flexibility for on-call hours

Pay Range

$25.33 per hour
