VOIP Network Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Set up, troubleshoot, and configure Avaya and Cisco voice solutions
  • Manage, install, and configure Avaya and Cisco Unified communications systems
  • Review router/switch logs for potential security breaches and notify the NOS promptly
  • Oversee routers and switches across the ANG enterprise
  • Offer technical assistance for network voice, video, and IP-based solutions
  • Enhance security and performance of ANG WAN infrastructure
  • Prepare detailed documentation of completed tasks

Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Three years of experience in IT tasks related to this role
  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Required certifications: Security+ CE or CISSP, CCNA Collaboration
  • Proficient with Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, and Avaya equipment
