The licensed practical nurse is responsible for performing essential nursing tasks to assist patients in reaching and maintaining their highest level of physical, emotional, and social well-being. The LPN's responsibilities are guided by regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The LPN will work in either an adult or child/adolescent inpatient unit. The hospital provides 24/7 care, including support for individuals dealing with substance withdrawal.
Schedule: Full-time positions are open
Shifts Available: PM Shifts (3:00 pm - 11:30pm)
Job Duties:
- Provide patient care
- Conduct physical and mental assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members on treatment plans
- Communicate with patients and families
- Administer medication

Education/Training Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing or the State of the Rogers clinical facility. License must be in 'good standing' with the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing or practicing State.
  • Required to have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or American Red Cross Professional Rescue within thirty (30) days of employment. Certification renewal annually.
  • Formal training in managing aggressive patients within sixty (60) days of employment. Annual re-certification is necessary.
  • Prior experience in psychiatric care with children, adolescents, and adults is preferred.
