Summary:


The Crew Scheduling Supervisor at National Airlines plays a critical role in overseeing the Crew Schedulers on duty, ensuring all flights are properly crewed and Crewmembers receive outstanding support.

This role is critical for upholding safety, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and mitigating crew-related delays in a fast-paced and complex environment.


Essential Functions:

Operations Management:
Ensuring efficient crew management within the 72-hour operational window. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining safety, preventing Crewmember fatigue, ensuring FAR compliance, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

This role requires effective decision-making during irregular operations to swiftly recover from disruptions, maintaining the flow of operations and minimizing delays.


Logistical Coordination:
Ensuring all Crewmember accommodations, ground transportation, and commercial flights are managed efficiently.

This entails proactive planning and coordination to minimize disruptions, adjusting for last-minute schedule changes, and ensuring that Crewmembers have the necessary support for seamless transitions between assignments.


Supervision:


Provide direct supervision and support to the Crew Schedulers, ensuring that the team is provided with clear instructions and guidance to effectively execute their duties.

The Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining high morale and a positive work environment within the team.

Communication :

Serve as a key communication link for the Crew Scheduling team, liaising directly with the Duty Manager, other departments, third-party vendors, and Crewmembers to disseminate critical crew-related information and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Shift work, including weekends and holidays to support a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in airline operations, with a focus on crew scheduling/planning.
Comprehensive understanding of 14 CFR Part 117 and Part 121.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and effectively.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located.
Must pass a background check which could include fingerprinting, a pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
