Vice President of Enrollment Management

Summary:
The Vice President of Enrollment Management is responsible for effective planning, program development, budget development, and data analysis for admissions, financial aid, and retention efforts of Louisburg College. The individual in this position provides leadership in designing the institution’s enrollment and retention strategies and uses high-quality, evidence-based data and best practices to make enrollment management decisions. This individual must motivate others throughout campus to work and serve collaboratively to achieve enrollment and strategic goals while improving retention and graduation rates.
Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day management of tasks in all areas of responsibility.
Represents enrollment management on the Administrative Cabinet.
Works with appropriate constituencies in formulating admissions, financial aid, and retention policies for the College.
Provides direct supervision to the staff.
Coordinates the recruitment and selection of staff.
Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress and weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual activities, including presentations and meetings with various college constituencies.
Prepares budgets and activity implementation plans for subsequent years.
Supervises, monitors, evaluates, and modifies the Retention Plan for Louisburg College.
Increases student fall-to-spring and fall-to-fall persistence rates for the College until 80% retention is achieved and maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Admissions Duties:
Supervises all admissions staff.
Develops and supervises the admissions budget.
Considers and approves purchase requisitions.
Develops and implements the strategy to identify an inquiry pool.
Develops and implements the strategy for student recruitment.
Develop the admissions communication and recruitment plan for all students from inquiry to matriculation.
Develops and oversees all pre-registration activities.
Coordinates the development of recruitment goals for each term.
Develops all admission marketing publications.
Supervises the student ambassador program.
Conducts interviews with prospective students as appropriate.
Evaluates high school records as appropriate.
Supervises the campus visitation program.
Develops and implements the travel schedule for admissions counselors.
Develops and oversees all reporting and data collection.
Represents Louisburg College Admissions Office to internal and external constituencies.
Serves as a liaison with Learning Partners Program, the Academy, and the Methodist Church.
Financial Aid Duties:
Supervises all financial aid staff.
Develops and supervises the financial aid budget.
Responsible for ensuring the institution maintains the compliance standards set forth by the Department of Education and the State of North Carolina.
Supervises the administration of all established financial aid programs (federal, state, and institutional funds) to ensure compliance and uphold the mission and vision of Louisburg College.
Ensures that all awarding policies are set with the goal of recruiting the incoming class and retaining current students.
Manages the financial aid awarding cycle.
Develops and oversees financial aid reporting and data collection.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in an applicable academic discipline from a regionally accredited higher educational institution.
Minimum of five (5) years of educational experience in admissions for higher education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to efficiently and effectively manage a multimillion-dollar financial aid budget.
Ability to prepare written technical and fiscal reports in a timely and efficient manner.
Working familiarity with staff development and training principles and practices.
