Travel - OT Outpatient

Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Length: 12 weeks

Requirements:

• GA License 
• 1 year outpatient experience
• Required Skills include assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning
• BLS
• ACLS

• 1st Timers are accepted
• Floating: Possibly within facility, but rare
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Minimum Experience: 1 year (outpatient); 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, GA State OT License
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Adult Outpatient, Rehab Facility; Patient Diagnoses include stroke, ortho (shoulder, hands, UE) and other neuro (MS, TBI, Guillan Burre); Required Skills include assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning

Scrub Color: Scrubs (Black) or Business CasualWeekends: None

Call Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
