Tacoma, United States Soliant Full time
Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Tacoma, WA

Academic Year: 2024-2025

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about helping students find their voice? Join Soliant Health as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Tacoma, WA, and make a lasting impact on the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role is your chance to empower young minds to overcome communication challenges, helping them thrive academically, socially, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations using both standardized tests and clinical observations to accurately identify each student's unique speech and language needs.

  • Tailored Therapy: Design and implement individualized therapy plans that address a wide range of communication disorders, from articulation and fluency to language and social communication.

  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to create a supportive learning environment that encourages student success and growth.

  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Licensing: You must hold or be eligible for a Washington SLP license, ensuring youre ready to step into this role with confidence.

  • Certification: ASHA certification is a plus, but not a deal-breaker. Your skills and dedication to student success are what matter most.

  • Experience: While previous experience in a school setting is helpful, its not mandatory. If you have the passion and skills to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

What We Offer:

  • Guaranteed Hours: Enjoy the security of set work hours, encompassing both direct therapy services and essential indirect work.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Take advantage of our robust benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a matching 401(k) plan to secure your future.

  • Professional Growth: Join a team that values continuous learning and offers opportunities for you to expand your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Supportive Work Culture: Become part of a team that respects your expertise, supports your professional development, and fosters a positive work-life balance.

How to Apply:
If youre ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students, reach out to Megan Winey at megan.winey@soliant.com. Were excited to learn more about you and how you can contribute to our team.
