Ultrasound Tech III-WEEKEND ONLY

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Operates ultrasound equip to perform clinicaldiagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive proceduresaccording to established standards and practices. Provides patientservices utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge ofcross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to allage groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.Communicates effectively with staff andradiologists.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved DiagnosticMedical Sonography Program.
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four (4) years ofexperience required.
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
ARDMSregistered in at least 3 specialties. (Does not includeRVT)
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered VascularSpecialist) is preferred.
