Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and sport club officers.
Team Description: The Club Ultimate team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics. The team is open to all participants and is currently structured to have an A team that competes competitively against other Universities in the region and a B team that also competes against other Universities but is more recreational or for beginners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
• To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
• To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
• Attend all team practices and games
• Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid, CPR, AED based on current certification
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in coaching or participating in rugby
• Flexible, availability and high level of responsibility
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent
• First-Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.
Preferred:
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
