RESPONSIBLEFOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patientsfrom birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes toassess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/shefunctions within the framework of the policies and procedures ofthe organization and demonstrates professional growth andaccountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursingcare.



Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursingprogram
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursingprogram eligible
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
Current License in the State ofGeorgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense.
BLS certificationrequired.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One yearof nursing experience in a hospital setting isrequired
Bachelors degree preferred
Advancedcertification in field of specialty, if applicable
