About the Role:

Are you passionate about fostering a love for reading and helping young students improve their literacy skills? Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated 5th Grade Reading Teacher for a full-time, year-long contract position in Lake Wales, FL. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver dynamic reading lessons aligned with state standards.
  • Assess and evaluate student reading progress, providing feedback and individualized support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for reading.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Literacy, or a related field.
  • Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education.
  • Strong understanding of 5th-grade reading curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
