Blazerjobs is currently seeking qualified School Psychologists to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the full 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' academic and behavioral needs and promote a positive school climate.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans and behavior intervention plansas a member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through ongoing data collection and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, counseling sessions, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a range of academic and behavioral needs.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques commonly used in school psychology practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the well-being of students.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position (37.5-40 hours/week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Full 2024-2025 school year
