Blazerjobs is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologistsfor multiple openings in Sacramento, CA. These positions are for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year and are ideal for professionals passionate about making a significant impact on students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education planstailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans.
  • Provide training and support to school staff and parents regarding speech and language development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
