About The Position
GI physician. Compensation Negotiable. 7 day rotations every month. 24 hour call with hospital rounding in house for 8 hours--procedures and rounding. Rounding time is dependent on how many patients are on consultative service at the time, but flexible. Average Callback Hours: 7-9h. There will not be another Gastroenterologist present while the locum is on assignment. Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, Biopsy, Polypectomy, Proctoscopy / Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Hemorrhoidal Banding, Upper GI Endoscopy, PEG, Esophageal Variceal Banding, Banding Lesions - Management of acute GI bleed, Dilation, HIGHLY PREFERRED: ERCP, Management of hospitalized GI patients. Job Requirements
Board Certification required. ND License or IMLC on hand. BLS, DEA required, Clean malpractice/background required.
