Description
  • Must be understanding, courteous andprofessional at all times when in contact with patients, visitors,employees, and medical staff.
  • Assist doctor withpatients.
  • Demonstrateknowledge in a medical office.
  • Anticipate doctor’s needs for each patientbased upon patient complaints and treatmentplan/guidelines.
  • Verify that patient results, x-rays, labs andprocedure reports are in patient charts prior to seeingdoctor.
  • Gatherpatient’s vitals and complaints, document in patient medicalrecord.
  • Chartaccurately and legibly to include labresults.
  • Facilitatephysician and patient communications.
  • Complete lab requisition forms and assurethat specimens are sent to correct labs per patient insurancecontract.
  • Maintainand monitor exam room and procedure room supplies andinstruments.
  • Cleanand sterilize instruments in accordance to OSHARegulations.
  • Schedule patientappointments. Liaison betweenmedical professionals and patients. Maintain and monitorsupply of  medications, Clia Waived testing, medical supplies,Lab, DME equipment, and office supplies.
  • Coordinateprovider and treatment room availability.
  • Optimizepatient satisfaction by scheduling further testing andimaging.
  • Oversees clinical department operations,which includes drug logs, supplies, MSDS folder, orientation manualand clinical job descriptions. Demonstratesleadership by observing and suggesting necessary changes toclinical staff work assignments, and problem areas that mayarise.
  • Receive requests for recurmedication.
  • Monitor patient flow in treatmentroom.
