Job Title: Senior Treasury Analyst - Contractor
Location: Indianapolis (Hybrid schedule)
Job Summary:
The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a key role in managing the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. This position involves complex analysis, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the efficient management of the company’s financial resources. The Senior Treasury Analyst will collaborate with various departments to optimize cash management strategies, manage banking relationships, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Oversee daily cash positioning, ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs, and optimize the use of cash and credit facilities.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts. Provide insightful financial analysis on liquidity, cash management, and working capital trends.
- Treasury Operations: Execute and monitor wire transfers, payments, and funding arrangements. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of treasury transactions.
- Banking Relations: Manage relationships with banking partners, negotiate banking services, and ensure optimal pricing for treasury products.
- Investment Management: Assist in managing the company’s short-term investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with policies and risk parameters.
- Debt & Credit Facilities: Monitor the company’s debt obligations and assist in the management of credit lines, including compliance reporting and covenant tracking.
- Risk Management: Analyze and recommend strategies for mitigating financial risk, including currency and interest rate hedging strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular treasury reports for senior management, including analysis of liquidity, risk, and cash position.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements. Lead or participate in treasury audits and compliance reviews.
- System Optimization: Leverage treasury management systems to automate processes, improve reporting capabilities, and increase efficiency in treasury operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in treasury operations to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of cash management, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Excel and financial modeling abilities.
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange (FX), interest rate hedging, and financial instruments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
