As the PIM Specialist, you will beresponsible for all product data & information that assists indriving sales for the organization. This position will act as aleader by continuously assessing and standing up new processes andcapabilities into the PIM (InRiver). The position is responsiblefor driving change management and documenting SOPs for all thingsproduct content and data. You will actively engage with variousinternal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of andimprovement of product content, delivery channels, data quality,and governance with an eye to developing processes for use ofeCommerce, Marketing and Sales. This position can beremote.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and manage the development of richproduct content that allows the organization to merchandiseproducts to eCommerce, printed catalog, product syndication,etc.
  • Final approval for all data being putinto the PIM
  • Development of rich productattributes and standards for rich content. This includes but is notlimited to creative product descriptions, images, video content,taxonomies, etc.
  • Manage rich productinformation with our Product Information Management (PIM) system,the management system which includes creative content that expandsproduct-related attributes.
  • Management andinterface with internal and external customers in the developmentand expansion of extended product information.
  • Conduct regular audits of PIM and brands for digitalcontent to identify and address any inconsistencies, errors orgaps.
  • Execution of content syndication effortsto meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Serve as functional adviser, trainer and problem solverto optimize the data model and capabilities of the PIMsolution.
  • Perform technical duties of systemadministrator for the InRiver solution. Successfully gatherrequirements to determine and establish data owner roles,workflows, and queries within the system to support theestablishment and enrichment of Product Data in the PIMsolution.
  • Maintain digital content tracker,metrics and scorecards for each vendor, monitoring the contentperformance and identifying opportunities forimprovement.
  • This position requirescollaboration with marketing, eCommerce, category management andSales to ensure product information is accurate andenriched.
  • Respond to both internal andexternal requests for product-related data and assist with theprioritization efforts.
  • Proactively work withsales, with an understanding of data impact and datatransformation.
  • Develop and maintain strongrelationships with vendor’s content management teams to facilitatesmooth content uploads and updates.
  • Editproduct listings via spreadsheets, import and manual processes in adatabase environment.
  • Ability to manipulatedata via Excel to formulate and simplify large amounts of data. SQLskills a plus.
  • Create and Merchandise contentthrough enrichment processes and best practices.
  • Own and manage, by category, all things product content,content experience and content reporting. Report on platformperformance, best practices, and impact of platform to directmanagers and main stakeholders.

 

Requirements/PreferredSkills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, InformationTechnology/Management, Data Science, or Business related fieldpreferred; High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 2+ years PIM/ECommerce experiencepreferred
  • Demonstrated expertise inunderstanding workflows and business processes, identifying issues,and providing solutions utilizing PIM/ERP technologies
  • Experience leading multiple internal and externalstakeholders and aligning multiple viewpoints into a unified visionand roadmap
  • Strong business analysis, projectmanagement, & communication skills with excellent attention todetail
  • Ability to convey complex data modelsin an understandable manner to non-technical levels
  • Subject matter expert on content governance, management,and delivery
  • Strategic and analytical thinkingand root cause analysis problem solving skills
