Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- North Carolina State Certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience working with students with special needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional Disabilities
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of assistive technology and specialized teaching strategies
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
- Ability to collaborate with families, staff, and other educators
Position Overview:
Soliant Education is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a school in Gastonia, NC. This position is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about providing inclusive, differentiated instruction to students with special needs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), supporting students academic and social-emotional development, and collaborating with a dedicated team to meet students diverse needs.
