Not only do we have a large, beautiful building, but we want to introduce you to our staff. We are a 2-doctor practice utilizing seasoned technicians to provide an excellent experience to our patients and clients. We are eager to welcome a new doctor to our clinical team

 

We enjoy a diverse medical and surgical caseload in a fast-paced environment in the St Louis area. Our efficient support staff allows our doctors to focus on patient care and client service; exactly the type of medicine you wanted to practice when you got out of school We pride ourselves on our collaborative and easy-going culture that allows our team to focus on preserving work-life balance.

 

We welcome doctors of all levels of experience, ideally with an interest in client education and surgery/dentistry. We're happy to mentor young doctors just starting your careers

 

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery/dentistry and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
