Spanish Teacher

About the Role: Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bilingual Secondary Teacher (Spanish) to join our team in Dobbs Ferry, NY. This full-time, full-year position offers a unique opportunity to engage with secondary students in a vibrant and diverse educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in secondary school subjects, integrating Spanish and English to support bilingual education.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Valid NY State teaching certification.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
• Prior experience teaching secondary students in a bilingual setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

Contract Details:

• Full-time hours for the entire academic year.
• Contracted hourly position through Soliant Education.
