Job Description:

Soliant Education is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a School Psychologist to join our team in Peabody, MA. This full-time, on-site position is dedicated to supporting students in grades 9-12 for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. If you are a skilled and compassionate professional ready to make a meaningful impact on adolescent students' lives, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support students' academic and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, fostering their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement individualized support plans.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and provide support in managing student behavioral issues.
  • Contribute to the development and review of student IEPs and 504 plans.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for Massachusetts.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with high school students is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
