Soliant Education is a leading provider of staffing solutions for educational institutions nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in New Egypt, NJ, for extended school year (ESY) hours.
Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services during the extended school year (ESY) in New Egypt, NJ. This is a contract position with flexible hours to support students' needs during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students during ESY sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and success.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active New Jersey state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
