You will be the Crater/Packer for the Camden Operations team.


What You Will Be Doing
As the Crater/Packer, you will be responsible tasks ranging from routine crating and packing
operation to preparation of non-standard crates and boxes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Determines packaging requirements from specifications, blueprints, oral instructions, or knowledge of materials to be shipped and shipping conditions.
• May build special crating fixtures and braces for shipping unusual or large items when standard boxes and crates cannot be used.
• May prepare material such as parts, assemblies, and tooling for special shipment.
• Packages materials by blocking, tying down, padding, securing, bracing, or other means to avoid damages.
• Uses standard hand and power woodworking tools and banding equipment.
• May coordinate loading or unloading of unusual items requiring special handling techniques.
• Operate folklifts, unload & load trucks of incoming and outgoing material.

This position is located in Camden, Arkansas Discover Camden

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Able to determine packing requirements from specification, blueprints, drawing, oral instructions, or knowledge of materials to be shipped and shipping conditions.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Forklift experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience in carpentry work.
- Experience with table saws, radial arm saw.
- Proficient with measuring tape and other measuring tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
