About Us: Join our team in the vibrant Bronx, NY, as an Hourly Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) through Soliant Education We're committed to providing exceptional speech therapy services to our diverse community. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the school setting.

Position Overview: We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Bronx, NY, as an hourly contractor through Soliant Education. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating communication disorders, helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, on an hourly basis.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in New York.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong understanding of speech therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Dedication to meeting the diverse needs of students.
