About The Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasound Tech)

Location: Liberal, KS

Position Type: 13-Week Contract

Schedule: 4x10s or 3x12s, 40 hours per week

Pay: $2,562 weekly gross ($1,400 taxable and $1,162 stipends)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasound Tech) to join our healthcare team in Liberal, KS, for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and be proficient in ensuring patient safety and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including general, OB/GYN, and vascular.
Educate patients regarding procedures, ensuring patient understanding and cooperation.
Review patient history and physician's orders.
Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images.
Ensure proper imaging techniques and patient positioning to achieve diagnostic accuracy.
Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating procedures.
Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Proficiency in general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound procedures.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work 4x10s or 3x12s as required.
