Inpatient Pharmacist Opportunity Fort Mitchell, KY (Near Cincinnati, OH)

Are you an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist looking to make an impact in a dynamic hospital setting? Join our healthcare team in Fort Mitchell, KY, conveniently located just across the Ohio state line near Cincinnati. This is a 13-week temporary assignment with the potential for extension.

Position Details:

  • Location: Fort Mitchell, KY (near Cincinnati, OH)
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (extension possible)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shifts Available:
    • Evenings: 5x8-hour shifts, rotating weekends
    • Overnights: 7-on/7-off, 10-hour shifts
  • EMR System: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care with a focus on clinical monitoring and therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate healthcare providers and patients on medication use and safety.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives to optimize the medication use process.
  • Oversee and ensure dispensing accuracy while guiding pharmacy workflows for timely medication distribution.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Kentucky Pharmacist license required.
  • Additional Requirements: Flu vaccination must be completed prior to start.
