Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Job Description:

Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday. This position primarily focuses on providing speech and language services to pre-K students, with a caseload ranging from 12 to 50 students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate pre-K students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to pre-K students, both individually and in small group settings.
  4. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to maximize outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
  7. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  8. Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  4. Experience working with pre-K students is preferred but not required.
  5. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
