Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist: Barrington, IL

Duration: September 2024 - End of May 2025

Schedule: 2 days per week

Description:

Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist seeking a fulfilling part-time opportunity? Join us in Barrington, Illinois, for the 2024-2025 school year as we make a difference in the lives of students attending two different parochial schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide therapy services to students onsite at the two parochial schools.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Additional Information:

This part-time position offers the opportunity to work two days per week, from September 2024 to the end of May 2025. The selected Speech Language Pathologist will provide onsite services at two different parochial schools in Barrington, IL.
