Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Crown Point, Indiana

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Crown Point, Indiana. The successful candidate will provide exceptional speech and language services to students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. This position involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for goal setting and progress monitoring.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current Indiana State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • Indiana State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Speech-Language Pathologist License.
