EW Engineer

Key Role:

Researches, designs, develops, tests, or supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employs knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Applies specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) or Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) testing

  • Experience with Python or MATLAB

  • Knowledge of Electrical characteristics of EW or EMP radiation to shielding and test instrumentation

  • Ability to analyze test cases, ascertain specification compliance, and perform test assessments and test criteria for verification and validation

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in a Scientific field

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex test environments and test design

  • Experience with Modeling and Simulation

  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, and other higher order computer languages

  • Ability to review and develop complex test cases for completeness and requirements capture, including traceability

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree in a Scientific field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
