Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Position Overview: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/ Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a talented and compassionate General Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed faculty provider team. In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthetic care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer general anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and general surgery cases.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgical procedures, ensuring rapid response to any changes.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and provide post-anesthesia care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthetic management and patient interactions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and protocols.
