About The Position

Seeking a full-time, experienced NNP to join our expanding Neonatology practice in beautiful suburban North Atlanta dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families.  

Our team provides Level III neonatology services at our clients hospitals.  We are expanding to a team of 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologistsfrom 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs to provide 24/7 coverage at both hospital locations.

Job Requirements
  • Level III NICU (Cumming, GA)
    • The average census in NICU is 18-20
    • 45 post-partum rooms
    • Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE.
    • Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, our team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born at our client location

 

  • Level III NICU (Canton, GA)
    • New Women’s Center opened in 2017
    • The average census in NICU is 13-15 (this has doubled since 2020).
    • 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU
    • 24 post-partum rooms
    • Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG. Whole body cooling at Forsyth only
    • Our team provides NBN coverage for 100% of all deliveries at the Cherokee location
  • Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites
  • Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
  • NNP coverage is 24-hour shifts, 7-8 shifts per month
  • NNPs work at both sites for scheduling flexibility
  • NNP responsibilities will include NBN care in Newborn Nursery
  • Open to new graduate candidates
  • Experienced NNPs are preferred but are accepting new graduates as well.  Must be Board Certified Neonatal NP prior to start (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
