Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time position, contracted through Soliant Education, to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in need. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other team meetings as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Current New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
