Charlottesville, NC Homecare RN Job Details Location: Charlottesville, NC (serving Mecklenburg and Union Counties) Healthcare Setting: On-Site, Homecare Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Start Date: December 15, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (No weekends or overtime) Shift Length: 8 Hour Days Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 - $2,278 Mileage Reimbursement: $0.41/mile Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact State (required for North Carolina nursing jobs) Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for homecare visits Preferred: Experience with HCHB, Wound Care, IV, Ports, Wound Vac, and Oasis documentation Strong assessment, care planning, and communication skills RN Case Management Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in home and community healthcare settings Deliver case management, health maintenance, and disease prevention services Supervise care plans and support staff as needed Coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Oversee medication administration, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with healthcare policies Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to physicians and care teams Complete all required nursing documentation (daily, monthly, quarterly, annual) Maintain infection control standards for medical equipment and supplies Schedule and follow up on patient health-related appointments Provide training for new employees and annual recertification on health and safety procedures Ensure unlicensed staff are trained on patient-specific health needs Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
