Job Title: Director of Billing & Collections
Location: Woodbury, NY (Long Island)
Schedule: Full time onsite
Salary: $130k-$190k

Responsibilities and Duties:
? Manage and oversee the Firm’s revenue process from end-to-end, including client on-boarding,
invoicing, and collections to ensure timely and accurate payment from clients.
? Manage and motivate the Billing and Collection team to ensure individual and team
performance and development. This includes responsibility for hiring, training, coaching,
performance management and termination.
? Highlight issues that are preventing timely payment and collaborate both externally and
internally to enable resolution of those issues with an aim of prevention of the issue reoccurring.
? Fully engage with Partners and Clients to understand and advise on complex billing and
collection issues.
? Drive process change to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of billing and collection efforts.
? Work with third party vendors to develop and improve billing procedures and to enhance billing
and collection efficiency.
? Prepares and distributes Firm reports to Equity Partners and Managing Partners, detailing AR
and other metrics as needed.
? Ensures a successful monthly close cycle.
? Establishes controls and ensures the quality and integrity of the client billing process.
? Reviews and prepares daily, weekly, or monthly billing reports as required.
? Documents and updates Billing and Collections Firm protocol and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.
? 10+ years of leading US &/OR international billing & collections teams.
? Experience working with global billing and collections systems.
? Strong reporting and Microsoft Excel skills.
? Strong background in process improvement and workflow management.
? Proven success in driving cash collections and improving aging.
? Proven success in managing and motivating staff.
? Experience in global professional services industry preferred (i.e., global law firm, “Big 4”,
management consulting firm).
? Ability to influence teams outside of direct circle of control.
