Job Description:
Soliant is actively seeking a qualified and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in Georgia. This in-person position offers the chance to provide crucial communication support to students in a vibrant educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation for students in various educational settings
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
  • Adapt interpreting methods to match the communication needs of students
  • Support the academic and social development of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Collaborate with educators and administrators to ensure effective communication
  • Maintain accurate records of interpreted sessions

Qualifications:

  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
  • Valid Georgia interpreter certification (if required)
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
