Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Westminster, MD

Job Overview:
We are looking for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SPLAs) to join our team in Westminster, MD. In this full-time position, you will work in a school setting, providing essential services to students with communication challenges. Your expertise and support will be key in helping students improve their speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Diagnose: Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders (for SLPs).
  • Implement Treatment Plans: Develop and carry out individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP (for SLPA).
  • Provide Therapy Services: Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and social communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student development and success.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • For SLPs:

    • Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Licensing: Valid Maryland SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
    • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
    • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

  • For SLPAs:

    • Education: Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
    • Certification: Current Maryland SLPA certification or eligibility to obtain one.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with children is preferred but not required.

  • Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
